Grandma’s Favorite Soup

“My grandma made this soup for us at least once a week, and we still love it after 40 years!”

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 onions, peeled and cubed
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can tomatoes, diced
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 basil leaf
  • onion salt to taste
  • taco powder to taste
  • 1 cup corn, frozen
  • 1 cup green beans, frozen
  • 1 box macaroni

Add chicken broth, cubed potatoes, onions, carrots, tomatoes, tomato paste and seasonings to large pot. Bring to boil for about 10 minutes. Add frozen corn and green beans, bring back to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer; add macaroni. Cook until macaroni is tender but not overdone. Serve hot with crackers.
