1 pint strawberries
1/2 cup semisweet milk chocolate or white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening or coconut oil
Rinse strawberries and pat dry. Line a sheet pan with wax paper. Melt chips and oil over low heat or in the microwave, stirring frequently. Dip strawberry into chocolate mixture allowing the excess to run back into the bowl. Repeat…repeat…repeat. For variety, add sprinkles or chopped nuts. Chill strawberries in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
