2 packages (8 ounce) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg white, beaten (optional)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup plums (prunes), dried and chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine brown sugar, dried plums, walnuts, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll out crescent roll dough as directed on package. Spread 1 heaping tablespoon of filling onto each crescent roll. Roll up from widest end to form crescent shape. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Brush with egg white (optional). Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate leftovers.
