Layered pecan Pie

<p>LAYER 1<br />
8 ounces cream cheese<br />
1/3 cup sugar<br />
1/4 teaspoon salt<br />
1 egg<br />
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />
1 1/4 cup pecans, chopped<br />
9-inch pie shell, deep dish<br />

LAYER 2<br />
3 eggs<br />
1 cup light corn syrup<br />
1/4 cup sugar<br />
1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br />

Combine the first three ingredients, beat until smooth. Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat until combined. Spoon into pie shell and sprinkle with pecans. Combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract &ndash; pour over layer 1. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until set.</p>
