Snowy Mashed Potatoes

Snowy mashed potatoes


  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 4 pounds potatoes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Cook peeled potatoes. Mash in a large bowl. Add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and garlic. Beat on high until smooth and light. Stir in chives. Spoon into buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until golden.
