Sweetheart skillet steaks





Season steak the night before. Remove steaks from the fridge one hour before cooking. Add a few tablespoons of oil to a heavy skillet and place on high heat. Add steak to skillet and cook on each side for several minutes (depending on doneness preference and thickness of meat). When the steak is nearly cooked, add butter. Let the steak rest at least five minutes.
